Goblin Tome is where you can find the most important articles in Magic: the Gathering‘s history, all in one place.
It’s meant as not only a place for players to study the theory behind the game, but also as a preservation tool so that texts won’t be lost with every year the game goes on. Reading the content presented here will help every MTG player, from professional to casual, in their quest to better play and understand the game.
It’s also meant as a tribute to all the true scholars this writers are, for scrutinizing every aspect of the game in search of a better angle to approach each and every decision, from deckbuilding to sideboarding to the last point of life.
Goblin Tome is mostly focused on pure theory, and tries to skip articles that talk about metagame analysis, decklists primers or tournament reports, although there may be exceptions. If you feel there’s an article missing here, feel free to contact us and suggest it – maybe it’s already planned to be published, but if by any chance it isn’t it’s always great to have new additions.
GOBLIN TUTOR
The Goblin Tutor series is an attempt to create a suggested reading order for the content here on Goblin Tome. Almost like an online course, it proposes an order that was specially devised to make the understanding of the concepts presented here easier to everyone, while also transitioning between concepts in a friendly way.
You don’t need to read our content in that order, although in the first months all articles we publish will be in the Tome series and will be published in the suggested order.
